There is so much news! I can’t even keep up with it all.

European leaders speaking out against President Trump’s threat to impose tariffs on NATO allies…ALLIES…

Scott Bessent dismisses questions about Trump’s letter to Norway…oh my…How are you this much of a snowflake??

Danish defense minister announces increased presence in Arctic; this means an increased military presence in and around Greenland…all because of our President.

Danish officer doesn’t expect a NATO country to attack another NATO country…well he better start expecting the unexpected with this administration.

End of free MLK Day admission leaves Zion National Park with drastically fewer visitors; instead Trump added his own birthday as free calendar entry. Oh by the way Juneteenth was also removed from this free day of admission. Granted these are only on the annual admission pass days where they are free but at the same time this is disheartening.

These are only a few headlines. I didn’t even mention the murder of Renee Good by ICE or the other shootings or attacks by ICE.

I have great expectations ford the person who leads our country. I expect them to lead in diplomacy, have compassion for the people in which he has been elected to represent, and overall be a well rounded leader. I cannot say any of these things are true for President Donald Trump. He is not a good leader in that he doesn’t listen or take advice from anyone. He just barks orders and expects everyone to obey regardless if it makes good sense or not. And there apparently are no adults in the room to say Sir No. Like has he EVER been told No in his life? The way this term is going I will be surprised if the United States comes out of his presidency unscathed.

My plan is to continue to speak out against this foolishness. I will not be silent. Say it with me: I WILL NOT BE SILENT.

You may be someone who likes what he is doing. Then we have something which I can disagree with you about. There is a way to carry out some of the things he is doing. For example: comprehensive immigration reform is not ICE. I see no legislative body attempting to solve this multifaceted issue. All I see is ICE throwing brown bodies in detention no matter what they look like and if anyone gets in their way the attitude is they can have some of this smoke too. This is not the right way to handle this issue. This is just going to lead to more loss of life.

I am gong to keep saying it and keep educating my people: I WILL NOT BE SILENT.
